mother of Mohammed Bassin, 4 yrs. old, sits holding her son who was
injured when his house was hit by an explosion from a shell or a bomb
from Coalition Forces. As US soldiers stood guard outside the hospital,
inside, in the emergency room, dozens of wounded lay on stretchers,
and doctors and nurses complained of having no anesthetics, sterile
instruments, and adequate supplies of medicine and operating supplies.
